Privacy policy
Protecting your personal data matters to me. This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website (juqivo.versh-studio.de). This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics tools or embedded third-party content. Fonts are served locally from this server. Personal data is only processed if you voluntarily sign up for the release notification (see section 3).
The Juqivo app itself has its own privacy notice, which will be published with the app.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser (server log files):
- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested page or file and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
- browser type, browser version and operating system
This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (e.g. defending against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and reliably. Vercel stores the log data only for a short period and then deletes it.
A data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Data may be transferred to the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is therefore based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). More information: Vercel privacy policy.
3. Beta sign-up / release notification
If you sign up for the beta, I process the following data:
- your email address
- the platform you selected (iPhone, Android or both)
- the time of your sign-up, your consent and your confirmation
- where the sign-up came from, if available: a campaign code from the link you opened (e.g.
?ref=instagram) and the name of the website you came from (domain only, not the full address)
Double opt-in: After submitting the form, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only once you confirm your sign-up with it will I add you to the list. This ensures that nobody can sign up other people's email addresses. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
The sole purpose is to inform you by email about the start of the beta and the release of Juqivo, and to understand through which channels interested people find the site. There is no newsletter and no sharing with third parties for advertising purposes. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future – via the unsubscribe link in every email or by an informal email tojonas@versh-studio.de. Recording the time of sign-up and confirmation serves as proof of your consent (Art. 7 (1) GDPR). The data is deleted once the release notification has been sent, at the latest 24 months after sign-up, or immediately after you withdraw your consent.
Sign-ups are stored in a database operated by Supabase Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992 (server location: EU). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, including standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR), is in place with Supabase.
Emails are sent by Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA. For this purpose, your email address and the content of the message are transmitted to Resend. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Resend; the transfer to the USA is based on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). More information:Resend privacy policy.
4. Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process your email address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
My mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
5. Language detection, cookies and tracking
When you open the home page, the appropriate language (German or English) is selected automatically. For this purpose, the country the request comes from (derived by Vercel from the IP address) and the language set in your browser are evaluated. This information is used only at the moment of the request and is not stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is to show you the website in a language you understand.
Only if you switch the language yourself using the “DE/EN” switch is a cookie namedlang set, which stores your choice for one year – also for the website versh-studio.de. It contains nothing but “de” or “en”, is not shared with third parties and is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). In addition, the protected admin area sets a technically necessary cookie for the operator after login.
Beyond that, this website does not use any cookies or any analytics, tracking or advertising services. No third-party content (e.g. Google Fonts, YouTube, social media plugins) is embedded. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
6. External links
This website may contain links to other services (e.g. app stores). Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click such a link. The provider's own privacy policy applies to its data processing.
7. Your rights
Within the scope of the law, you have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
